11 paddlers in 10 boats from Alpine Boat Basin south on the outgoing tide. We made a stop at Huyler's Landing and went as far as the ruins of the Undercliff Beach Bath House at low tide. We had lunch at Undercliff and took a walk to an old graveyard. When the tide started to push upriver, we returned to Alpine just as some heavy rain and thunderstorms came in from the West. At least the cliffs to our west were the high point but it got a bit noisy as we sprinted back to Alpine.
